Cut through the clutter
I want you to imagine you're in a train station. Lots of people, many many of them.
There is someone in the crowd you need to talk to.
How do you get their attention? You say their name.
I mean if I was in a train station and someone called my name, I would want to know.
Headlines for marketing are the same.
It shouldn't be 'clever', 'smart', 'cheeky'. It should say their name directly to try and make them raise their hand.
Here is an example.
Your a chiropractor, and you're targeting people with sore backs.
Headline?
'Do you have a sore back in [city]? Reduce the soreness of your sore back'.
You say their name directly, you literally point to the people who have a sore back in your area.
It's simple, direct AND you sell the benefit (which is another thing I talk about here).
Hope it helps,
Rickson
